Case study

Ian's Car Transport & Delivery

A brand-new Herefordshire vehicle transport business with no online presence — and how a simple website changed that.

The brief

Ian was starting a vehicle transport and delivery business and had no website, no Google listing and no easy way for customers to check that he was legitimate. In a trade where people are handing over their car to a stranger, that credibility gap matters more than almost anything else.

He also wasn't sure where to start. The brief was simple: make it clear what the service is, make it easy to get in touch, and make it something he could be proud to put on a business card.

What we built

A clean, mobile-first website that gets to the point. The homepage explains what Ian does and where he covers, the service details sit one scroll down, and the phone number is tap-to-call on every screen size. We wrote the pages around the phrases customers actually search for, then set up his Google Business Profile so he appears on the map as well as in the results.

  • Clear homepage explaining the service
  • Mobile-first layout with tap-to-call
  • Service and coverage details
  • Simple enquiry form
  • Local SEO setup
  • Google Business Profile listing

The result

Ian now receives enquiries directly through Google searches from people looking for vehicle transport in the area — from a standing start, with no advertising spend. Just as importantly, he has somewhere to send every referral and every social media follower that makes the business look established.

“I wasn't sure where or how to go about getting a website for my new business. After working with Hereford Websites I have been really happy with the results — it gives my customers all the info they need and I have had enquiries through Google searches already.”
